I am an artist who primarily works in metal. Creating objects and jewelry in gold and silver. My investigations in small scale forming have enabled me to establish a vocabulary of three dimensional forms. I construct, deconstruct, and combine to burden metal until it's far removed from the original raw material I began with. I feel this method gives my work the quality of having been born; The delicate scars of the journey remain, but the form matures. From patterned rings to strange one-of-a-kind things to small-scale sculpture to doing obscure repairs. My studio is a diverse workspace which allows me to combine my traditional skills and promote experimentation. I also reckon myself as an inventor. I received a US Patent for an ergonomic tool grip.
